West Donates $20,000 to North Lenoir Fire & Rescue

EXTON, Pa - West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (NYSE: WST), a global leader in innovative  solutions for injectable drug administration, recently presented a check for $20,000 to North Lenoir Fire & Rescue in Kinston, NC in honor and support of their service to the community.  

“This year, West celebrates it’s 100-year anniversary; this milestone provides us an opportunity to reflect and  continue to make commitments to the communities where our team members live and work,” said Jim Cormas, Sr.  Director of Operations for West’s Kinston site. “West is grateful to be a part of the Kinston community, and we  thank the volunteers at North Lenoir Fire & Rescue for their continued support and service to the safety of our  team members and surrounding community.” 

West’s Kinston site currently employs 670 team members. The plant produces a variety of rubber components,  such as stoppers for vials and plungers for pre-filled syringes which are critical to the health care supply chain.  

"North Lenoir Fire & Rescue is extremely grateful for this generous donation," said Fire Chief Brian Wade. "We are  thankful for West Pharmaceutical Services' continued investment in our community and commitment to the  citizens of Lenoir County.”
