Boomer was able to make a strong contribution in the Chargers’ win over North Pitt on Sept. 28. The sophomore carried the ball seven times for 136 yards and two long second-half touchdowns in the 35-7 victory against the Panthers.

Pope helped the Patriots maintain its undefeated start in last week’s busy game schedule. APA went 3-0 last week and the junior had big games against Grace Christian on Sept. 27 (11 kills, 33 assists) and St. Mary’s the following day (eight kills, eight service aces).
