Each Thanksgiving, the Kinston Chapter of Carolina Junior Cotillions donates pet food to the Lenoir County SPCA. This year our students are donating dog food to the SPCA and cat food to the Kinston Chapter of Lucky Cats.

The Lenoir County SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is an open-door shelter and annually accept approximately 2,500 strays, neglected, abused or surrendered animals from Lenoir County. Our small shelter receives an average of 8 new homeless pets every day. Please spay & neuter! You may visit their website at www.lenoircountyspca.org for more information.

The Lucky Cat Program is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to improving the welfare of community cats primarily through facilitating the humane, long-term solution of trap, neuter, return, manage (TNRM) and low-cost spay/neuter services. Please visit Lucky Cat’s Facebook page for more information.
