New Year's Eve Masquerade fundraiser for Pride of Kinston
Pride of Kinston is offering Kinstonians the chance to ring in the new year in style.
The New Year’s Eve Masquerade at the Museum will take place Monday, December 31 from 8:30 p.m. - 1 a.m. at the CSS Neuse Civil War Interpretive Center at 100 N. Queen St. in Kinston. The fundraising event for Pride of Kinston will feature live music from the band TrainWreck, a dance floor and hors-d'oeuvres provided by Queen St. Deli and Carolina Pasta Works of Greenville.
“It’s going to be a good time...We want people to come and have fun,” said Leon Steele, Executive Director of Pride of Kinston. Tickets for the event include two drink tickets per person, and there will be a cash bar as well. The dress code for the evening is business formal or dressier.
In keeping with the masquerade theme, guests are encouraged to wear their own masks to the event. Steele said there will be some masks on hand, but supplies will be limited.
Tickets are $40 per person, and Steele said the cost of the tickets is tax-deductible. Tickets will be available online until noon December 31, and at the door Monday evening.
