Mrs. Perry Delano Winstead, 62, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019. A memorial service will be held at the La Grange Church of God on Saturday evening at 6:00 pm.

Delano enjoyed creativity, especially in arts and crafts, cooking, and interior decorating. She was genuinely a good-hearted person, never meeting a stranger, and would do anything for anybody. She loved traveling with her husband of 43 years, enjoying road trips to the beach, the mountains, and to Memphis, Tennessee.

She loved worshiping with her church family at the La Grange Church of God. Delano is preceded in death by her brothers, Dallas and Kenneth Wilkerson.

She is survived by her husband, Will “Bill” Rogers Winstead; son, Dallas “D.J.” Winstead; two stepsons, Roger Winstead and wife, Sandra, and Craig Winstead and wife, Tammy; grandchildren Jordan, Emily, and Stroud Winstead.

In lieu of flowers, donations can made be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, one of Delano’s favorite charities, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
