See this content in the original post

Charles Norfleet will return this week to the market with Irene's Cheesecakes. He will bring delicious pumpkin cheesecake along with sweet potato, strawberry, blueberry, cherry and plain cheesecakes. Stop by for a sample, take one home or place an order for a holiday goodie.

This week we have more exciting news as we welcome Inez Moore from ENEZO BAKERY KITCHEN as a new vendor. She will have Sweet Potato and Butternut Squash Cream Cheese slices. She will also bring butter pound cake, chocolate pound cake vanilla pound cake and pineapple upside down pound cake. Yummy, Yummy!

So many of y'all have asked about sweet vendors being at the market. So now we have two of them. Come out to support them so they will continue to bring cakes, pies, cheesecakes, etc. for us to enjoy.

What’s happening at the Farmer’s Market

Saturday, October 19
Kelly Tyndall, Family and Consumer Sciences agent from the Lenoir County Cooperative Extension, will be with us to guide us in the preparation of the Eastern North Carolina's favorite leafy green....COLLARDS! This should be interesting, as well as informative and tasty. SAMPLES WILL BE SERVED.

Saturday, October 19
Breakfast on the Boat

For the best breakfast in town that day, come out and support our neighbors as they raise money for the upkeep of the only full-sized replica of a Confederate ironclad in the world.

Saturday, October 26
The Lenoir County SPCA will bring their booth to the front lawn of the Rick Holder Annex. They will have dogs dressed in Halloween costumes. Now you know that will be a heart-stealer.

Saturday, November 23
Vivian Howard and Leraine Howard Tolston share their cooking talents with us. They are so popular and always draw a crowd. We really appreciate their interest in our vendors and our market. Come down to thank them in person.

Calling all local artists
Any local artists who are interested in exhibiting and selling on this day should email Pat at pljenki3@ncsu.edu. We will have the usual tent set up for you, but we'd like to know who plans to show up!
This is a great day for people to do some holiday shopping.
