Before beginning Christmas holidays this week, Parrott Academy students filled the campus with a variety of holiday music. Over 700 students and parents gathered in the school's gym for the  annual Holiday Concert on Dec. 6th.

Chorus students from elementary through high school, a guitar ensemble, and the complete school orchestra performed selections including “Carol of the Bells”  and “ Believe” from The Polar Express.  The concert concluded with chorus  teacher Lisa Duke directing her students, various faculty members, and special guests singing Handel's Hallelujah Chorus.

APA's music department also organized a music relay held on Dec. 10th.  Throughout the school day, young musicians filled the main lobby of the school playing piano selections and string arrangements of carols, while chorus members sang.  An ever-changing audience of students going to lunch or the office, teachers running errands, and visitors to the campus paused to enjoy the holiday cheer.
