Around Town: Spirit AeroSystems donates $21,000 to Lenoir/Greene United Way
Spirit AeroSystems recently donated $21,000 to Lenoir/Greene United Way. The donation will support the work of multiple area nonprofit organizations who receive funding support through Lenoir/Greene United Way.
Of the total amount donated, $10,000 was given by the Spirit Golf Charity Classic which is held annually in Wichita, Kansas. The other $11,000 was given by the local employees of Spirit here in Kinston through their Good Neighbor Fund.

We recognize all the tremendous things Lenoir/Greene United Way does in providing much needed support to our neighbors and local non-profit organizations. This gift is a testament of our commitment,” stated John Beilman, Spirit AeroSystems Facilities Director and President of the Kinston Good Neighbor Fund.
