Nutritionist II: Regular, Full-Time, Position Salary Range: $30,616.42 - $56,026.07

Performs advanced human support work providing clinical nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the WIC Director. This position will serve in the WIC Department of the Lenoir County Health Department.

Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm; however, occasional work outside of these hours may be required for meetings, trainings, workshops and conferences.

Minimum Education and Experience: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a B.S. in Foods and Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, or Dietetics and one year of nutrition experience: or completion of an ADA approved dietetic internship with ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration eligibility preferred or Master's degree in Nutrition or Public Health Nutrition with ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration eligibility preferred. If unable to fill at full class, will consider applicants qualified as a Nutritionist I. Valid NC Driver's License required. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) preferred.
