Kinston Police seek information regarding recent case of Armed Robbery

On Friday, November 13, 2020, at 8:06 pm, officers were dispatched to the Dollar General, 405 E. King St. Kinston, N.C. in reference to an armed robbery. Upon arrival officers met with the store clerk who advised that a black male entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanding money.

The suspect was described as a black male 18-25 years old, approximately 6' in height and slim build. He was wearing a gray pullover with a hood and black pants. The suspect fled on foot. An undetermined amount of money was taken.

The Kinston Police Department places the highest priority on investigating crimes of violence perpetrated in our city. We will investigate such cases with no compromise for crime, and continue to seek assistance from the community we proudly serve.
