La Grange man arrested on drug charges
LA GRANGE: According to the Lenoir County Sheriff’’s office on March 3, 2020, Adam Wade Williams of LaGrange, North Carolina was arrested on multiple state drug charges, pursuant to a narcotics investigation conducted by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit. Detectives made undercover purchases of crystal methamphetamine from Williams during the investigation. At the conclusion of the investigation, Detectives went to arrest Williams and he has in his possession approximately 21 grams of crystal methamphetamine and a handgun.
Williams has been charged with two counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Sell methamphetamine, Deliver methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Williams was also served with seven orders for arrest in Wayne and Lenoir counties for previous charges that he failed to appear in court. Williams was processed and placed in the W.E. Billy Smith Detention Facility under a $131,000.00 secured bond.
