Parrott's General Store to close September 2020 if not sold

The following was posted on the Parrott Brothers Facebook page:

“We know that there are many rumors going around about Parrott‘s General Store closing our doors. After a lot of thinking and praying we have decided that it is best for our family to close the business. It is the second hardest decision we have ever had to make. My dad loved this business with all his heart, so this is really hard for us. If you, or someone you know, may be interested in buying the business please call and speak with myself (Ashley) or my wife, Jaime.

If we are unable to sell the business we will close our doors as of September 1st, 2020. We appreciate all the current and past support we have been given over the last several years. With that being said, back in January I ordered some hats not realizing it would be the last time I would be ordering them for the business. So for a short time we have a few hats left for our customers to purchase. Thanks to all.”

According to their website, Parrot’s General Store has been owned and operated by the Jones family since 2003. It was previously owned by the Parrott family and has been in operation since the early 1940’s.
