According to their website, Southern Vinyl Manufacturing provides top quality vinyl fencing, railing, pergolas/arbors and other outdoor products.

“Southern Vinyl has been a wonderful manufacturing company in Kinston for many years and we are very thankful to have been able to help them find a building where they can continue to grow and invest in Lenoir County,” said Spear.

The manufacturing company plans on making a three million dollar investment into the purchase and updating the building. The new building will offer Southern Vinyl almost double the building and land space allowing for future growth.

“Southern Vinyl currently has 21 team members and plans to add 12 additional jobs over the next two years. The new jobs will include sales, customer service, manufacturing technicians, truck drivers and loaders,” said Ben Seegars, Member Manager of Lookout, LLC.

Southern Vinyl is currently located at 4133 Berkeley Ave. in Kinston. They offer a variety of customized products in many colors and unique shapes and sizes.

“We are excited about this project and appreciate the willingness of the Lenoir County Economic Development team to help make this dream a reality,” said Seegars.

Lookout LLC. purchased the building through an Economic Development Agreement and Purchase Agreement as Lenoir County Shell Building #3 and Associated Land discussed in a May Commissioner’s meeting.
