Lenoir County Sheriff's Office make drug arrests

On August 26, 2020, David Jerome Stocks of Kinston, North Carolina was arrested, pursuant to a narcotics investigation conducted by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit. During the investigation, Detectives made multiple controlled purchases of crystal methamphetamine and heroin from Stocks’s residence.

As a result of this investigation, Detectives obtained warrants on Stocks for state drug charges. Stocks was charged with two counts of Possession with intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance and one count of Possession with intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance.

Stocks was given a total unsecured bond of $30,000.00.


On August 26, 2020, Anthony Lee Morgan of LaGrange, North Carolina was arrested, pursuant to a narcotics investigation conducted by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit. During the investigation, Detectives made multiple controlled purchases of marijuana from MORGAN in the LaGrange area.

As a result of this investigation, Detectives obtained warrants on Morgan for two counts of Possession with intent to Sell and Deliver marijuana.

Morgan was given a total secured bond of $5,000.00 and was placed in the WE Billy Smith Detention Facility.
