Trenton native wins Eastern Region title in NBC’s The Titan Games
Trenton native Will Sutton added to his series of wins in NBC’s sports competition show The Titan Games with his latest performance in the Eastern Regional finale on Aug. 3.
As the reigning Titan, Sutton competed in the final Mount Olympus battle against contender Josh Porter, who Sutton faced in his third appearance on the show.
The Eastern Regional finale brought back all the athletes who had competed in the Mount Olympus challenges throughout the Eastern Region episodes, but “Country Strong” Sutton won out.
An agriculture teacher and JV basketball coach at Croatan High School, Sutton put on a display of strength and agility through the series of obstacles that make up the Mount Olympus challenge, leading to his fourth straight win.
As the Eastern Region Titan, Sutton will go on to compete in the finale of season 2 of The Titan Games on Monday, Aug. 10 at 8 p.m. He will compete against the Central and Western Titans, Matt Chan and Noah Palicia.
