A new business has arrived in Kinston called Gone Juice Bar. They produce cold-pressed juices made with organic or locally grown fruits and vegetables. The pandemic may have hindered their plans, but it did not stop the juice bar from opening.

“Our goal is to increase the health and wellness in this area by working with local farmers to get produce, provide healthy drink options, teach children about using what we have from the earth to live healthier lives and gardening,” said owner Shanee’ Warren, health and wellness advocate, and motivator.

The Gone Juice Bar is located at 126 W. Lenoir Ave inside Nantucket Lofts in Kinston. Customers can also place their orders on Facebook and Instagram. Their hours of operation are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday.

“We began organically. Originally it was something that just my family and friends were a part of and since then has grown. We were urged by several people to create a space where people could put a face with their juice,” said Warren.

After six months of perfecting their product, Gone Juice opened in December of 2019. The business started with friends and family and has grown from there. They acquired the space in Kinston in October 2020.

“The pandemic caused us to evolve and be more creative. Initially, it was our desire to be able to have the juice bar to be a neighborhood staple for positivity,” said Warren.

Gone Juice set out to provide contactless deliveries but was afraid they couldn’t foster long-lasting relationships. That is not proving to be the case. They state the juices will boost the immune system, provide the body with the necessary nutrients and assist with weight loss.
