Kinston police seek information in search for suspect, another arrested

On Thursday, March 11, 2021 around 3:41 p.m., Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area of College St. Kinston, NC. Officers began searching the area and located several shell casings on the 900 block of College St.

On Friday, March 12, 2021, Officers obtained warrants on Rahmel Gray, age 20 of Pink Hill, NC and Tysheek Gray, age 22 also of Pink Hill, NC for Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling and Possession of Firearm by Felon. Rahmel

Gray was taken into custody at his residence with the assistance of the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Department on Friday but at this time, Officers have been unable to locate Tysheek Gray. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Tysheek Gray is asked to call the Kinston Police Department at one of the numbers listed below.
