Lenoir County announces three deaths related to COVID-19
KINSTON — The Lenoir County Health Department (LCHD) is reporting three additional deaths in the county of residents who had tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total number to 122. The three fatalities occurred since the last time the LCHD reported deaths on April 23.
Two of the residents who died were older than 65 and had underlying health conditions. The third resident was younger than 65 and had no underlying conditions. To protect the families’ privacy, no further information will be released.
“We are heartbroken for these three families who have lost a loved one to this disease,” LCHD Director Pamela Brown said. “We must remain vigilant against COVID-19 so it doesn’t take any more of our community members.”
