On Saturday, October 8, 2022 Snow Hill and Shine Rural Volunteer Fire Department will host their 8th Annual Sportsman’s Giveaway. The fire departments joined forces eight years ago to host one of the biggest fundraisers of the year.

Speaking with Emily Kearney, wife of one of the organizers, she said that “its faced paced and every few minutes something is being given away”. 

Guns and Money are given away every 4 minutes. Its a fun filled 2 hours that goes to a good cause. Tickets are just $20 and cash prizes ranging from $400 to the grand prize of $10,000.
