According to her peers at Greene County Intermediate School, “Mrs. Gray inspires students not to give up on their learning journey. She implements the best teaching practices in her classroom each day. She works to meet the needs of all of her students. Students want to attend her class because [she] holds them to high standards each day. She respects every soul she meets and knows. Mrs. Gray works to provide a loving and nurturing environment. She contributes to committees and works to plan positive events for students and staff. She is always smiling when I see her with students. She is positive, upbeat, and has a specific gift to teach all students.”

Mrs. Mumford, principal of Greene County Intermediate Schoo, has said of Mrs. Gray “ …at our first meeting I knew that she had what it took to be an awesome teacher, one who would dedicate herself to ensure the success of students academically and socially. It has been a pleasure to see her thrive.”
