Smart Kinston City Project Foundation is happy to announce the presentation to Jim Godfrey of Mary's Kitchen with the original oil painting by smART Artist Seraphim Smith of the "Everlasting Picnic" or, a Southern version of the Last Supper.

You can see more about the making of this painting by watching the PBS North Carolina - North Carolina Weekend episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwHw7oqavYU This project, as well as many other art installations throughout the community was made possible through the Smart Kinston Grant Program. In addition to other sites a few installations may be seen at Rochelle Middle School, Herittage Street and the Arts and Cultural District.
