Lenoir, Wayne and Greene County Sheriffs charge three in LaGrange area vehicle break ins
On the night of January 10th & 11th 2022, numerous vehicle break ins were reported to the Lenoir, Wayne and Greene County Sheriff's Offices. Deputies and Detectives from all three counties worked together through the numerous reports, conducted interviews and identified the suspects in these cases.
Sheriff Ronnie Ingram stated, "three neighboring Sheriff's Office worked as one to bring these suspects to justice for their crimes. All of these personnel put in numerous hours to build these cases and I am proud of their dedication to serving our citizens. Each of these suspects have received 62 charges for these crimes so far."
Jamaronte Tyja Jones of LaGrange was arrested on February 18, 2022 and charged with 32 counts of felony breaking or entering a motor vehicle, 13 counts of felony larceny of a firearm, 11 counts of felony conspiracy, 5 felony counts of larceny of a motor vehicle and one count of misdemeanor larceny. Jones was confined in the Lenoir County Sheriff's Detention Center under a $491,250 secured bond.
Keith Sherrod Bizzell, Jr. of LaGrange was arrested on January 11, 2022 and charged with 32 counts of felony breaking or entering a motor vehicle, 13 counts of felony larceny of a firearm, 11 counts of felony conspiracy, 5 felony counts of larceny of a motor vehicle and one count of misdemeanor larceny. Bizzell was confined in the Lenoir County Sheriff's Detention center under a $142,500 secured bond.
Makel Kahlid Sutton was arrested by the Greene County Sheriff's Office and has been charged with 32 counts of felony breaking or entering a motor vehicle, 13 counts of felony larceny of a firearm, 11 counts of felony conspiracy, 5 felony counts of larceny of a motor vehicle and one count of misdemeanor larceny. Sutton was confined under a $100,000 secured bond.
Sheriff Ingram acknowledges and thanks the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, Greene County Sheriff's Office and the NC State Bureau of Investigations who all worked their cases in their jurisdictions and/or assisted the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office with the arrest of these persons for Lenoir County charges.
