On Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022, at approximately 7:30 am, officers from the Kinston Police  Department were called to 225 East New Bern Rd. Kinston, N.C. in reference to a breaking and  entering that had occurred overnight. Upon arrival officers discovered that a number of  firearms and miscellaneous ammunition had been stolen. This case is in the early stages of the  investigation and the Kinston Police Department urges anyone with information to come  forward.  

The Kinston Police Department places the highest priority on investigating crimes perpetrated  in our city. We will investigate such cases with no compromise for crime, and continue to seek  assistance from the community we proudly serve.
