Rusty Relics Auction Services and Thrift, which specializes in estate and online auctions, has opened in Kinston. The new store is owned by Lisa Foyles and Michael Bean, who met as vendors at Ironclad Marketplace where they shared their passion for antiques and collectibles.

“We do estate clean outs, attics clean outs, barns,” said Foyles. “We are taking consignment for our online auctions. Also, take consignments to list on eBay as well.”

Both Foyles and Bean have their auctioneers license and there will have an online auction service coming soon. Inside the building, Bean has an antique toy shop on one side, with Foyles thrift store in the center, and on the other side is storage for their eBay consignment customers, as well as the online auction.

They are thankful for their experiences with Ironclad Marketplace and continue to have booths there.

Rusty Relics Auction Services and Thrift hours of operation are Wednesday through Friday from 10:00 am through 6:00 pm. While the Online Auction is not yet ready, they do hope to have it up and running by the end of September.

“If you are looking for good quality at good prices, come on by and see us,” said Bean. “We’re willing to work with anyone. If you see something you like, we’re an auction, so everything is negotiable.”

The new shops are at 1301 S. Queen Street. For information on antique toys, visit Mr. Bean’s Facebook page. For more information about the online auction, thrift store, and eBay consignment, visit Rusty Relics Auction Services and Thrift Facebook page.

“We’re excited and we wanted everyone to know we were here,” said Foyles.
