Lenoir Community College Foundation in partnership with Elysian Players presents Love Bites, an evening of ANTI-romance at 7 p.m. Feb. 24 and 25 in the Briley Auditorium on the Turner Stage at LCC.

Enjoy an evening of dessert theatre featuring “The Lonely Hearts Club,” a support group for those who have been burned and spurned by love. Listen in as our regular attendees share their hearts – or what’s left of them – in song form. This motley crew is sure to rain on your parade as they sing through the pangs of heartache. Despite their distress, they’re a warm and welcoming bunch if Cupid doesn’t walk through the door.

This original Elysian Players production will keep you entertained as we discover that sometimes, Love Bites! Tickets may be purchased online at www.lenoircc.edu/lovebites. The cost is $25 and includes a glass of wine, dessert, and entertainment.

Elysian Players formed in the summer of 2021 and immediately sought to enrich, educate, and inspire. As an organization, the group is dedicated to developing local communities with excellence in the arts through stage productions, music festivals, and workshops. Elysian Players is committed to educating all ages in various artistic focuses, be they musicals, Shakespeare, jazz, opera, or other music genres.

Elysian is focused on inspiring a drive for excellence in all endeavors and making a lasting impact in the hearts of the community and rising generations.

Elysian is thrilled to step into what the future holds for the organization. As Elysian grows to better serve the community, they need your support by auditioning, volunteering, being a patron at an event, or donating towards their future efforts.
