Father and son face felony charges after failed robbery attempt

A father and son duo has been charged with attempted breaking and entry in an incident that occurred in February. 

Dewey Price and Dewey Price II were located and questioned on Feb. 24 following an attempted breaking and entering at 1617 Hwy 11 S., in Kinston. Suspects had damaged that building’s air conditioning unit and had attempted to forcibly enter the building. An eyewitness observed what appeared to be two males running away from the area; deputies located the father and son and questioned them in regards to the incident. 

On March 16, the pair were charged with felony attempted breaking and/or entering a building and felony injury to real property to obtain nonferrous metal resulting in damages greater than $10,000.
