Snow Hill NC Police Department posted the following on their Facebook page:

On 05/09/2023 Officers responded to Hines St. in Snow Hill to investigate a reported residential break-in. The home had been forcefully entered and several items had been stolen, including precious metals and family heirlooms.

SHPD's investigation resulted in the arrest of Daniel Hinnant of Snow Hill in connection with the crime. Hinnant was placed under a $25,000 secured bond. An additional suspect has been identified, and an arrest warrant is outstanding for that individual.
