A man was taken into custody by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office in the 2100 block of Paul’s Path this afternoon following a search that included an LCSO canine.

Stephen Walters, 35, of Greene County, had an order for arrest out of Jones County; LCSO deputies were dispatched to the Paul’s Path area on a disturbance call. He was captured in the woods by LCSO deputies, including Deputy Eric Carlyle and K-9 Officer “Judge.”

LCSO officials are transporting Walters to Jones County, where he will be placed into the custody of the Jones County Sheriff’s Office for processing.
