Greene Central Marching Rams march in 2023-24

Snow Hill - Greene Central High School’s Marching Rams have kicked off their 2023-24 season. Since July 24th the members of the band have been meeting at Greene Central for Band Camp from 9-5. They have been working hard on their halftime show, marching basics, and new music.

This year the Band’s show is entitled “Live! From GC”. The show features great music from the past and is sure to give everyone a good time. 

This year the band is competing in competitions in Clayton, Jacksonville, Elizabeth City, Cary, & Goldsboro, NC.  GC is also hosting the 42nd annual Greene Central Band Day on October 28th and already has over a dozen bands competing from all over Eastern, NC.

Band Director, Andrew Howell shared “One of our biggest goals this fall season is to have more performances in the surrounding communities are starting that by expanding our parade schedule.  Our first parade of the season will be the Watermelon Festival in Winterville.  We plan to represent Greene Central well everywhere from Raleigh to the coast.”
