TRENTON, NC - The annual Jones County Heritage Festival is set to return on September 22nd and 23rd at the Jones County Civic Center. The two-day event promises a vibrant celebration of community and culture. Kicking off the festivities is a concert featuring John Norris and Paige King Johnson on Friday, September 22nd. Doors open at 6:30PM, and tickets are available online or at the door.

The festival continues on Saturday with a diverse range of activities including the Danny Heath Memorial Car Show, a Local Entertainment Show, and a Cook-Off. Though the 'Little Miss Heritage' pageant was canceled, the festival still offers plenty for all ages.

Nature enthusiasts can explore Brock Mill Pond with kayaking rides offered by Barrier Island Kayaks. Additionally, the festival is bringing back the heritage interviews from previous years, available for viewing and participation.

Various vendors and exhibitors will showcase local crafts and culinary delights, and official 2023 JCHF T-shirts will be available for purchase. The festival invites everyone to join in this celebration of Jones County's heritage, with activities to engage all interests.
