The Kinston Police Department posted the following on their Facebook page:

09.14.2023 - Officers responded to UNC Lenoir for a report of indecent exposure involving Michael Hardy (62). It was reported that Hardy exposed his genitals to multiple people (including children between the ages of 11 & 12). Hardy was arrested for Indecent Exposure and placed in the LC Jail under a secured bond.
