The Kinston Police Department posted the following on their Facebook page:

KPD's Violent Crime Action Team received information from NC License & Theft Agents related to Okeith Parker (39). Parker had active Order For Arrest related to Attempted 1st Degree Murder, Assault With a Deadly Weapon With Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury, and Possession of a Firearm by Felon. Detectives saturated the area of the 4000 block of W Vernon Avenue and took Parker into custody without further incident. Parker was placed in the LC Jail under a secured bond.
