Man arrested following two-month drug investigation

A two-month cocaine investigation resulted in the arrest of a La Grange man on Friday.

Marcus Robinson, 38, of Coleman Lane in La Grange, was arrested Friday on several charges following the investigation into the distribution of cocaine throughout Lenoir County. A search warrant was executed on Robinson, who was currently on parole for previous firearm charges.

Robinson was charged with:

·      Two charges of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school

·      Two charges of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine

·      Possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana

·      Possession of drug paraphernalia

Robinson was placed into the Lenoir County Jail with a secured bond.
