Arrest made following disturbance incident on N Herritage Street

At approximately 3:14 PM on October 27, 2024, A-Squad officers responded to a reported disturbance on the 700 block of N Herritage Street. Upon arrival, officers observed a suspect, identified as Mark Tadeo (34), fleeing the scene and initiated a pursuit.

During the chase, Tadeo complied with officers' commands and was subsequently detained. An investigation revealed that he had fled after assaulting and firing a weapon at a female acquaintance.

As a result of the investigation, Tadeo has been charged with multiple offenses, including:

Assault With a Deadly Weapon With Intent to Kill

Assault by Strangulation

Possession of a Firearm by a Felon

Crime of Domestic Violence

Discharging a Firearm within City Limits

Additionally, officers executed an unrelated Order for Arrest during the incident. Tadeo is currently being held at the LC Jail under a secured bond.
