Help wanted: Lenoir County - Processing Assistant V
As a member of the Lenoir County Government Health Department, you can make a difference! The Health Department is seeking candidates for a Processing Assistant V. Candidates work involves a variety of office and technical tasks to accomplish the processing of information and documents.
Employees in this classification would be responsible for some of the following: registering patients, preparing medical records, greeting the public, determining patient financial responsibility for charges, collecting patient fees, and/or answering the switchboard. Employees in this classification must understand the ethics of confidentiality as required by North Carolina General statutes and Lenoir County Health Department policies and procedures, along with HIPAA guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma and three years clerical experience
• One-year on-the-job training to become competent in all areas of responsibility
• Possess a valid North Carolina Driver’s License
• Pass a background check
