Help wanted: Lenoir County Department of Social Services - Processing Assistant V

As a member of the Department of Social Services with Lenoir County Government, you can make a difference! The agency is seeking candidates for a Processing Assistant V. Candidates work involves a variety of office and technical tasks to accomplish the processing of information and documents. This position is responsible for picking up and delivering mail to and from the post office, courthouse, and courier box; scanning and distributing incoming mail and processing outgoing mail, receiving delivery of products, and making bank deposits. This position is also responsible for maintaining equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduation from high school and demonstrated possession of knowledge, skills and abilities gained through at least three years of office assistant/secretarial experience

• Possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License

• Pass a criminal background check
