LCSO, KPD arrest three men in cocaine distribution investigation
Three Lenoir County men were arrested earlier this week on a plethora of cocaine charges.
On Wednesday, the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office narcotics unit concluded a months-long narcotics investigation into the distribution of cocaine throughout the county.
With the assistance of the LCSO Special Response Team, the Kinston Police Department’s Violent Crime Action Team and Special Weapons and Tactics Team, the following suspects were arrested and search warrants were executed in the Dawson Station Road area of Kinston.
At the conclusion of the investigation, a total of 918 grams of cocaine were seized.
The charges were:
TERRANCE EUGENE SUTTON, 53, OF KINSTON
· Four counts of selling/delivering cocaine
· Four counts of conspiring to sell cocaine
· Four counts of trafficking cocaine
· Conspiring to traffic cocaine
· Six counts of maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance
· Four counts of possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine
RAMIRO GARCIA ALONSO, 44, OF LA GRANGE
· Three counts of trafficking cocaine
· Three counts of conspiracy to traffic cocaine
CASIMIRO SANCHEZ PINEDA, 52, OF LA GRANGE
· Three counts of trafficking cocaine
· Three counts of conspiracy to traffic cocaine
Sutton, Alonso and Pineda were placed in the Lenoir County Jail with secured bonds.
