Obituary: Maxson Outlaw

Maxson Outlaw November 28, 2022 – May 22, 2024

Maxson Mitchell Outlaw, child of Mitchell and Kayla Outlaw and child of God, exchanged the embraces of his earthly parents for the embrace of his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Maxson was born in Pitt County on November 28, 2022.

Known affectionately to his family as Big Max, Mighty Max, Mac-Mac, and Sunshine, there were no names that encapsulated everything he meant to them. Fiercely determined and always strong-willed, Maxson faced all adversities with a smile on his face and joy in his heart. No matter the situation, he was able to bring a peace to his family through his cheerful spirit. Maxson was a reminder that love bears all things.

Spending time with his daddy, Maxson loved rides around the farm on the tractor, the truck, the golf cart, or Gator. Any time he was with his daddy, he was a happy boy. He loved watching TV, and his face would light up when he heard the opening song from “Moana” as this was his favorite movie. He loved all Disney songs, especially when his mama sang them to him. Strolling around the stores with his mommy on shopping trips was always fun, and somehow he always managed to return home with a new toy. Watching and listening to the trains go by was always fun, and you could tell of his fondness for trains just by watching him when you said “choo-choo”. Maxson loved his “paci” and was always sure it was close by.

A celebration of Maxson’s life will be held at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. A private committal will be held.

Maxson was wrapped in love from an abundance of family.
