See this content in the original post

The Lenoir County Farmer’s Market is located at 100 North Heritage Street. The market is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm.

Good news for Tuesday's customers... Jen Rouse will bring farm-fresh eggs to the market.

Art Class Saturday, June 1st, for kids and adults.

See Tobai in the 3rd section.

Learn to paint a sunflower, a rose, or maybe another kind of flower on a canvas that you may take home. How much fun will this be for children and parents alike? Don't miss it. Look for the market manager. She'll be there learning a new skill. It's never too late! Also, I'm bringing jewelry: spoon jewelry and leaf necklaces, concrete bowls and planters (large and small), old school windows, and new pieces of concrete art too.

Saturday, June 1st

Celebrating the Blueberry!

A family-style breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage (also, some meatless meat), blueberry pancakes, coffee, sweet tea, and juice prepared by Seraphim and Julie. Word has it that Seraphim is trying a "Blueberry Fritter" and an "Everything Bagel Loaf."

8 am at the Rick Holder Annex . Call Julie Babbin at 252-253-8030 for tickets.

A limited number of tickets is available for $12.00 each. This is a fundraiser to purchase equipment for "Tammy's Kitchen."

Or if your preference is lunch, join us at the Farmers Market Pavilion for a delicious Coney Island hot dog meal, complete with chips and a drink for $5.00. Prepared by Sandra and Teri. All proceeds from the hot dog sales go to Farmers Market projects.

Fresh from the Porter's Farm:

Fresh from TC Smith Produce:
