Lenoir County to host Fourth of July naturalization ceremony

On the Fourth of July 2024, the Lenoir County Historical Association will be hosting a Naturalization Ceremony for new citizens of the United States of America at Historic Harmony Hall. The event will begin at 10am that morning and will include dignitaries such as US Congressman Greg Murphy, Linda Sutton of the Lenoir County County Commissioners and the Mayor of Kinston, Don Hardy. 

Thirty (30) new citizens of the United States are expected to be recognized during the ceremony. Each person will receive a pocket-sized copy of the United States Constitution as part of the festivities.
