Help Wanted: Income Maintenance Caseworker III

As a member of the Department of Social Services with Lenoir County Government, you can make a difference! The agency is seeking candidates for an Income Maintenance Caseworker III. Candidates in this classification are responsible for the process of determining on-going eligibility for assistance through the Adult Medicaid programs including Medicaid for persons in long term care facilities (LTC); Medicaid for Community Alternatives Program (CAP); and Special Assistance for persons in domiciliary facilities (SAABD). This position is considered essential and requires reporting to work for inclement weather and as other needs arise within the division.

Minimum Requirements:

• Good mathematical skills and the ability to

communicate with clients and general public

• Possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License

• Pass a criminal background check
