Kinston Police Department Investigating Armed Robbery at Circle K

In the early hours of August 14, 2024, at approximately 1:37 a.m., officers from the Kinston Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Circle K located at 2011 W Vernon Ave.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, who reported that an unidentified black male entered the store, brandished a firearm, and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Kinston Police Department investigators are actively following up on leads and working to identify the suspect. A photo of the individual is being circulated in hopes that the public may assist in identifying him.
