NWS:
We wanted to send a quick update to show the increased chances for several tornadoes over Eastern North Carolina this afternoon and tonight.  Otherwise, the forecast hasn't changed significantly. We do not plan on sending any more briefings unless anything changes. 

It should be noted that whether or not this system becomes tropical, the impacts for our area including heavy rain and flooding, coastal flooding and a few tornadoes have not changed drastically.
