As a member of the Lenoir County Government Transit Department, you can make a difference! The Transit Department is seeking candidates for a Part-time Vehicle Operator. Candidates work involves the operation of a van or other vehicles to ensure safe transportation of passengers to and from various destinations. In cases of disaster, either natural or man-made, an employee may be called upon to serve the citizens of Lenoir County. Candidates for employment must be comfortable with heavy public contact and adhering to all safety regulations. Employees in this classification must be courteous and professional at all times with riders and co-workers.

Hourly Pay Rate: $14.17
