Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce honors local leaders at annual banquet

The Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce celebrated community excellence at its Annual Banquet on Tuesday, January 28, at the Kinston Country Club. The event recognized outstanding individuals whose dedication and service have significantly impacted the local area.

Award Recipients:

  • Citizen of the Year: Linda Rouse Sutton

  • Duke Energy Citizenship & Service Award: Amy Anderson Albritton

  • Pinnacle Award: Jeanne Kennedy

  • President's Award: Ashley Chadwick

  • Young Professional of the Year: Janna Moore Turner

The evening also marked a leadership transition within the Chamber’s Board of Directors. April Houston concluded her term as Chair and passed the role to Mrs. Ginny Moody.

Reflecting on her tenure, Houston stated, “I have full confidence that Mrs. Ginny Moody is exceptionally well-positioned to guide the Chamber to continued success, especially under the capable leadership of President Cale Grady. I am proud of the legacy we have built together and remain steadfast in my commitment to supporting the Chamber in any way I can in the future.”

The banquet served as a night of celebration, networking, and recognition of those who continue to make Lenoir County a thriving community.
