Lenoir County man arrested for meth possession after SCARR unit stop
A Lenoir County man was arrested Monday for felony possession of methamphetamine and other charges following a vehicle stop by a Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes and Rapid Response (SCARR) unit.
Lance Bowles, 44, was stopped by a SCARR unit conducting proactive enforcement in the southern part of the county Monday. During the stop, SCARR detectives established probable cause to search the vehicle occupied by Bowles and located narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
He was charged with:
· Felony possession of methamphetamine
· Misdemeanor possession of Schedule V controlled substance
· Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
Bowles was booked into the Lenoir County Jail with a $5,000 secured bond.
