On March 3, 2025, KPD’s D-Squad responded to a report of a gunshot wound in the 300 block of Airport Road. Officers arrived on the scene and located a 23-year-old victim suffering from a single gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim was treated for their injuries, and this incident is currently under investigation by KPD’s Investigations Division.
