Deep Run Man Arrested for Trafficking Cocaine and Methamphetamine

Following a joint investigation by the narcotics unit of the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) and the Greenville Regional Drug Task Force (GRDTF), a Deep Run man has been arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine, methamphetamine, and Schedule VI controlled substances.

Khalice Dove, who lives on the 2300 block of Eric Sparrow Road in Deep Run, was arrested in Pitt County Monday. His residence in Deep Run was searched by the LCSO and GRDTF on April 11 pursuant to a narcotics investigation that started in Greenville.

During the search, investigators located more than 400 grams of cocaine, more than 400 grams of methamphetamine, more than 1,700 grams of Schedule VI-controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Multiple items were seized as evidence that indicated controlled substances were being distributed from Dove’s residence.

As a result of the investigation, Dove was charged with multiple state drug charges, including:

·      One count of trafficking in cocaine

·      One count of trafficking in methamphetamine

·      One count of possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule VI-controlled substance

·      One count of felony maintaining a dwelling for keep and sale of controlled substance

·      One count of possession of drug paraphernalia

Dove received a secured bond for the above charges.
