The Kinston Police Department posted the following on their Facebook page:

KPD Officers initiated a traffic stop for motor vehicle violations. During the traffic stop officers observed narcotic violations and conducted a search of the vehicle and the occupants. During the search officers located two concealed firearms. One of the firearms had been previously reported stolen from Lenoir County. The occupants of the vehicle were arrested and charged with carrying a concealed gun, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of schedule VI.
