The competition, which was open to middle and high school students, asked participants to submit an original essay, song, or poem on their reflection and research regarding the impact of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
First National Bank of Kinston is the Putting Contest Sponsor of this year’s 22nd annual Lenoir Community College Golf Classic on Thursday, May 18, at the Kinston Country Club. This event has raised more than $600,000 toward student scholarships at LCC since its inception. Nearly 130 golfers played in the tournament last year, and the Foundation is expecting an even better attendance this year.
